My name is Troy Shields ,I started Troy Marine because of my strong belief in offering good service at a fair price with quality workmanship and almost exclusively offering power catamarans. I come from a family that has a long history of boat biulding,repairing and pleasure boating in the Mid Atlantic area. Being a avid angler fishing the Chesapeake Bay as well as Offshore and traveling abroad in search of a grander Marlin allow me the ability to offer a custom rigged catamaran to suite your needs.
I also am the original winner of the Bermuda Challenge back in 1996 running a 26ft Glacier Bay catamaran with 4-stroke outboards across 728 miles of open ocean. This adventure made me a true believer of a power catamaran and it's unlimited capabilities.Since 1996 I have run ,fished,owned and sold almost exclusively power catamrans while as of 1999 all of them have had Yamaha 4 stroke outboards.
